The North Carolina Psychological Association wants to help you find what you are looking for.   • Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality – Information on evidence-based practice outcomes, technology assessment, and preventive services. Includes a Spanish language section.
  • National Institute for Mental Health – Primarily focused on research findings with updates on funding opportunities and clinical trials open to patients.
  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) – The Federal agency charged with improving the quality and availability of prevention, treatment, and rehabilitative services for substance abuse and mental illnesses. Extensive links and information resources.
  • HealthFinder.gov – U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Links to online publications, clearinghouses, databases, websites, support and self-help groups, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations that produce reliable information for the public.
  • American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) – Association dedicated to helping children and families impacted by violence.
  • The Center for Mental Health Services –  Information helpful to the public and professionals, with a newsroom and forums on specific topics.
