The Pisgah Institute is Hiring

The Pisgah Institute (TPI) is the largest, most comprehensive behavioral-ashealth practice in western North Carolina. We opened in January 1994 and have been in uninterrupted operation for 32 years. We have a wealth of professional and business knowledge and experience. Our clinicians have been leaders in regional, state, and national professional associations and have published in the literature and presented papers and trainings.

We provide a wide variety of mental-health treatments including medication management, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy formats as well as education and consultation concerning mental-health issues. We also perform psychological, educational, and career testing, and we provide several research-based psychotherapy approaches (including cognitive—behavioral). We employ psychiatrists, doctoral-level psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

TPI is looking for a full or part-time, doctoral-level psychologist who is interested in working with adolescents and/or adults. Different employment or contracting arrangements are available.

We want a clinician who wants to engage in open communication among all of our employees, take ownership of problem solving, and strive to provide the best professional services possible.

A strong referral base as well as productive relationships in our community provide for a busy practice environment. Clinicians have the opportunity to design their own schedule and treat the patients they want to treat. The call schedule is not burdensome and is equitable. We offer group rates to our employees for health-insurance coverage as well as the opportunity to purchase life insurance and disability insurance. We also have an employee-funded safe-harbor 401K plan. For employees, there is the possibility of an annual bonus based on productivity.

We live our vision statement: Heal, Teach, Innovate.
