MOREHEAD CITY - Licensed Doctoral Psychologist

Seeking a full or part time doctoral level Clinical Psychologist to join an established and expanding psychological testing practice in Eastern North Carolina.  We specialize in providing psychological and neuropsychological testing for children, adults and seniors ages 6 – 90+.  Our practice enjoys excellent referral relationships with local physicians and behavioral health providers.  The practice is located in Morehead City, minutes from Crystal Coast beaches, boating, restaurants and night life.  Carteret County also offers highly ranked schools and a family friendly quality of life. 

The position is for an independent contractor with opportunity for growth and excellent revenue potential.   We provide all administrative services including referrals, reception, scheduling, billing, assistance with credentialing/enrollment on insurance panels, office space, and electronic medical record.  Come be part of our growing multidisciplinary team.

Applicant requirements:

  • Patient centered orientation, strong focus on quality, excellent people skills, and ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Licensed or License eligible as psychologist in North Carolina.
  • Training and experience in standardized psychological testing with children and adults including tools utilized for intellectual, executive functioning, behavioral/personality, and adaptive functioning testing.
  • Training and experience in neuropsychological assessment with children and adults preferred but not required.

CHARLOTTE - Hematology Psychologist

Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) is searching for a Psychologist to join their Sickle Cell / Hematology team with Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC. This Psychologist will provide psychological services to individuals with sickle cell disease and hemoglobinopathies across the lifespan who have emotional and psychological challenges in a comprehensive clinical setting working collaboratively with the medical team to establish treatment plans that optimize their overall outcomes.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree in Clinical Psychology including a full time 1-year pre-doctoral internship required. Completion of a full-time two-year post-doctoral fellowship with training in chronic disease, chronic pain or similar field preferred.  Ability to perform neuropsychological testing a plus.
