Cabarrus Family Medicine is seeking a full-time behavioral health provider for an integrated primary care position in Concord. Ideal candidates will either be Clinical Psychologists or Licensed Clinical Social Workers with experience working and consulting with multidisciplinary teams of health care professionals.

The Department of Anesthesiology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, North Carolina is seeking a full-time Clinical Health Psychologist to join our dynamic team! Ideal candidates will possess either a PhD or PsyD and have a NC Licensure or eligibility to obtain.The Clinical Health Psychologist is responsible for providing evidence-based interventions (CBT, ACT, MI), with an emphasis on chronic pain management in collaboration with interdisciplinary medical teams. The Clinical Health Psychologist will provide psychological assessment, individual therapy, and group therapy along with a team of patient-centered multidisciplinary providers including nurses, physicians' assistants, physical therapists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, functional medicine providers, and anesthesiologists. Additionally, they will conduct clinical assessments through semi-structured interviews of patients to formulate an individualized plan of treatment prior to spinal cord stimulation. Preference will be given to those with experience in pain management, but sub-specialty shadowing and training opportunities are also possible for those with broader clinical health backgrounds. Job Description Summary The Assistant Director of Training (ADT) is responsible for overseeing both the day-to-day operations of and strategic planning for all elements of the University Counseling Center (UCC) training program. The training program includes a master’s level counseling internship/doctoral practicum. There is also the expectation of developing additional training programs for social work students and/or doctoral psychology students. The ADT is a member of the UCC Leadership Team and assists with leadership of the UCC and its offices. The ADT also provides administrative and clinical supervision and consultation to UCC staff. The ADT provides culturally responsive short-term counseling/therapy and crisis services to students, and consultation and outreach to all members of the Wake Forest University community. The University Counseling Center (UCC) is focused on providing equitable and inclusive services to the campus community.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Doctoral degree in counseling or clinical psychology from APA-accredited program. Licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in the state of North Carolina within 6 months of hire. Minimum of three years of professional (post-graduate) experience providing clinical services. Minimum of two years of experience providing clinical supervision to trainees and/or staff. Knowledge of clinical training program functioning. Knowledge of a broad range of psychotherapy and counseling methods. Knowledge of and ability to use crisis intervention skills. The ideal candidate will possess: (1) PhD or PsyD, (2) North Carolina licensure, (3) experience working with chronic pain and health-related disorders, and (4) training/experience collaborating with interdisciplinary medical professionals.
This is a unique opportunity to join an established and growing regional private pain management practice.
Primary responsibilities include: (1) clinical evaluation of patients as part of the spinal cord stimulator protocol, (2) assessment of patient risk factors in opioid decision-making and interdisciplinary management, and (3) evidence-based psychological intervention and individual therapy with emphasis on chronic pain management.
