Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Training

October 24, 2025, 9am to 1pm via Zoom. 

Offered by The Center for Cooperative Parenting

GALs may be appointed in disputed child custody cases. GALs investigate the needs of the child and make recommendations to the judge regarding what is in the child’s best interest. GALs interview people involved in the child’s life and gather information from many sources to formulate a comprehensive and balanced picture of a child’s needs in the family. GALs are compensated by the parties in the custody case.
