About

About me: I am a cisgendered married female with one daughter, who just completed her Freshman year at Vassar College. I work part-time in private practice serving adults, mostly women. I am completing additional training in Mindfulness and hope to be certified in Mindfulness Teacher Training in the next few years. I incorporate Mindfulness principles in my work with clients. I also strive to stay up to date on what the research indicates is most effective, so I consider physical health, exercise, diet, relationships, work-leisure balance, self-compassion, ACT (values based action), etc. In my non-work time, I meditate, exercise, socialize, travel, read and participate in several book clubs. We have 3 rescue cats. I am motivated to be environmentally responsible and politically active (postcard writing). I share nonresidential caregiving responsibilities for my mother who has Alzheimer's Disease. As a result, my work hours are very limited at this time.
