About me: I am a clinical psychologist (licensed in NC since 1994) and recently retired as the Director of the Family Studies program and clinic at Duke University Medical Center. I am in private practice in Durham NC as of October 2022. As an experienced family, couples, and individual therapist, I draw from a wide range of experiences and training, grounded in attachment theory, emotion-focused therapy, family systems theory, AEDP, and CBT. I work with a wide variety of difficulties including depression, anxiety, interpersonal problems, family conflict, couples/marital issues, child behavioral disorders, adjustment disorders, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.
