#2 - Be Here Now: Enhancing Your Clinical Practice With Functional Analytic Psychotherapy with Holly Yates, MS, LPC, Certified FAP Trainer and Miranda Morris, PhD (Part 1 - This workshop will cover ACT and FAP concepts using both didactic and experiential exercises. - You do not need to attend the afternoon session to participate in this session.)

Friday Afternoon 1:30pm - 4:45pm:

#3 - Helping Couples Communicate Effectively with Jennifer S. Kirby, PhD
#4 - Be Here Now: Enhancing Your Clinical Practice With Functional Analytic Psychotherapy with Holly Yates, MS, LPC, Certified FAP Trainer and Miranda Morris, PhD (Part 2 will focus on experiential practice with emphasis on functional analysis and case conceptualization. - You do not need to attend the morning session to participate in this session.)

#6 - Diversifying Your Practice Into Coaching / Consulting: Key Professional Skills, Knowledge, Values, Ethics, and Experience with Stephen Marshall, PhD and Steve Shaber, JD (1 hour of ethics)

Saturday Afternoon 1:30pm - 4:45pm:

CONTINUING EDUCATION ACTIVITIES CO-SPONSORED WITH NCPA

NCPA co-sponsors activities with a variety of organizations. Please contact the host directly for questions regarding a co-sponsored activity.  For information on how to co-sponsor a Continuing Education activity with NCPA, please read the materials posted in the Continuing Education Manual Section of this site.

Before applying to co-sponsor a CE activity with NCPA, please contact our Director of Membership and Continuing Education, Karen Gray, at [email protected] or 919.872.1005 to verify the date of your program does not conflict with an NCPA-sponsored CE activity.

CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR NC PSYCHOLOGISTS

18 hours of Continuing Education Credit (over a 2 year period). These 18 hours must include:
Category ‘A’ – 9 hours* (minimum)
Category ‘B’ – 9 hours (maximum)

*at least 3 out of the 9 Category ‘A’ CE hours MUST meet the Ethical/Legal Issues requirement
