DIPP is proud to announce our 2020 Division of Independent Professional Practice Conference to be held on Saturday, February 15 at The Solution Center in Durham.

Saturday Morning 9:00am - 12:15pm:
Choose between:
#1 - Grief Counseling: The Best Clinical, Practical and Integrative Skills and Interventions with Harold R. Winokuer, PhD (If you choose this option, it is a 6 hour course to be held in the morning and afternoon. You must attend both sessions to receive 6 hours of CE credit.)
#2 - Mindful Self-Compassion: Caring for Yourself While You Care for Others with Karen Bluth, PhD and Laura Prochnow Phillips, MA, IHC (3 hours)

Saturday Afternoon 1:30pm - 4:45pm:
Choose between:

CONTINUING EDUCATION ACTIVITIES CO-SPONSORED WITH NCPA

NCPA co-sponsors activities with a variety of organizations. Please contact the host directly for questions regarding a co-sponsored activity.  For information on how to co-sponsor a Continuing Education activity with NCPA, please read the materials posted in the Continuing Education Manual Section of this site.

Before applying to co-sponsor a CE activity with NCPA, please contact our Director of Membership and Continuing Education, Karen Gray, at [email protected]rg or 919.872.1005 to verify the date of your program does not conflict with an NCPA-sponsored CE activity.

CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR NC PSYCHOLOGISTS

18 hours of Continuing Education Credit (over a 2 year period). These 18 hours must include:
Category ‘A’ – 9 hours* (minimum)
Category ‘B’ – 9 hours (maximum)

*at least 3 out of the 9 Category ‘A’ CE hours MUST meet the Ethical/Legal Issues requirement
